How can a European program be transformed into a real learning and empowerment experience for the local community? How can artisans leverage digital tools to showcase their work? How do collaboration, knowledge and creativity build bridges between the local and the international?
All of this was presented and celebrated at the dissemination and completion event of the European ERASMUS+ program “CrafDi – Digital Skills and Crafts”, which took place in Karditsa, in the presence of representatives of local bodies, the Region of Thessaly, the Cooperative Bank of Karditsa and the Women’s Center of Karditsa, as well as people who have served the local government and the social life of our place over time – friends and fellow travelers who have left their mark on the course of this place.
In a warm and festive atmosphere, we presented the entire project path, its results and its impact on the participating creators. The program closed ceremoniously, with an exchange of experiences, smiles and the established cutting of our organization’s cake – as a symbol of new beginnings and continuity.

The goal of CrafDi was and remains to strengthen the digital skills of local artisans, so that they can successfully operate in the global market and reach more people through their work.
The project was implemented by three partners from Greece, Latvia and Turkey. The participating artisans/creators have now become part of an international network of creators, which is hosted on the project.
