The aim of the project “CrafDi: Crafting Digitally – Bridging Artisans to Global Market” is to empower rural artisans in Latvia, Greece, and Turkey by giving them the digital skills and tools they need to access global markets through e-commerce.

More specifically, the project aims to:

Enhance digital literacy among artisans so they can effectively use online platforms for marketing, storytelling, and selling their crafts.

Preserve and modernize traditional crafts by integrating them into contemporary digital markets, ensuring that valuable cultural practices are not lost.

Improve employability and economic stability in rural areas by enabling artisans to reach international customers and increase their income.

Foster cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange between artisans from different countries.

Develop and pilot a digital craft marketplace that serves as a sustainable platform connecting traditional artisans with global consumers.

In short, the project combines digital empowerment, cultural preservation, and economic development to help rural craft communities thrive in the modern digital economy
