On 26 November at 10:00 at Lūznava Manor and 2 December at 10:00 at the design shop Kabata, free practical training sessions will be held for craftspeople and creative professionals from Latgale: anyone who creates and sells their own work. The training will help participants improve their digital skills, learn the latest trends in social media management, and start selling in the global market.

Participants will explore questions such as:

  • What kind of content currently resonates with social media users?
  • How can you generate ideas for posts and stories?
  • How can you take magazine-quality photos using just your phone?
  • What is the “three-second rule” in video creation?
  • How can you make artificial intelligence work in your favour?

Craftspeople will learn all this and much more on 26 November, with nearly half of the training time dedicated to practical exercises and real examples. According to the trainers, each participant will leave the session with several ready-to-publish social media posts and plenty of ideas for future digital content. The training will be led by Katrīna Bartkeviča and Marta Vorkale from SIA “Sistering”, together with Daiga Laizāne.

The second day of training (2 December) will focus on experience sharing among craftspeople. After all, who better than craftspeople themselves know how to package fragile ceramic pieces so they can safely travel across the ocean, or how to communicate professionally even with the most demanding customers? Before the experience-sharing session, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a coffee roasting masterclass by Kūp.

Participants are invited to register for the training by filling out the REGISTRATION FORM here: ej.uz/crafdigi (it is possible to register for both days or for only one of the training days).
Registration is open until 21 November.

Participation in the training is free of charge.

About the Project

The training sessions are organised within the ERASMUS+ project “CrafDi”. The project is implemented by Lūznava Manor in cooperation with partners from Greece and Turkey.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the digital skills of local craftspeople, helping them successfully operate in the global market and reach more customers. Craftspeople involved in the project will also have opportunities to connect with each other, build collaborations, and become part of an international network of craftspeople that will be featured on the project website www.crafdihub.com.
